Illuminated Manuscript Detail 1

This image is from a project for a Women in Art class that I took in Winter 2014. The project was to make an illuminated manuscript describing how illuminated manuscripts were made. I treated vellum paper with coffee and tea, then used calligraphy pens, ink, and watercolor to make the illuminations.
